Introduction to the GARTEUR action group HC/AG-19 on methods for improvement of structural dynamic finite element models using in-flight test data

This paper introduces the GARTEUR helicopter (HC) action group (AG): HC/AG-19 that explores methods and procedures for improving finite element models through the use of in-flight dynamic data. The members will also attempt to develop methods for the prediction of the effect of configuration changes on Frequency Response Function (FRF) behavior. Technical details of the work done at this point in time are presented in the same session of the conference. See references [5] through [8] for the related papers.
