摘要

Micro Raman spectroscopy is a powerful analytical technique used in the field of art and archaeology [1]. In the present study, an attempt has been made to identify the chemical composition present in the archaeological pottery samples collected from Gachibowli (17° 29'.N 78° 20'. E), the Megalithic archaeological site situated in the premises of University of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. Identification of chemical composition helps to give clear information about the pottery of particular area mainly the raw materials used.
