Preparation and Properties of Polypropylene Synthetic Paper with Anion Releasing

@@1.Introduction Synthetic paper, also called chemical film paper,plastic paper or polymer paper,can replace traditional paper for packing,making paper money or bag,printing and duplicating,etc.It was mainly prepared from polymer materials,natural stone powders and additives.The main companies for the production of synthetic paper are Taiwan South Asia,Japanese prince,Du Pont of U.S.A,etc.Polypropylene synthetic paper is from polypropylene resin.It has good chemical resistance,oil resistance,water resistance,excellent twists resistance,extremely good writing and printing nature, and strong toughness. Anion can make air fresh and protect human from diseases.In this paper, anion-2 as anion releasing material was added to the mixture of polypropylene (PP), titanium dioxide and some additives to prepare multifimctionai synthetic paper releasing anions.The synthetic paper could release anions 10530/cm3.It had many good properties,such as high strength,excellent printing result,removal of smell,dimensional stability,not aging,lightweight, adiabatic quality,water resistance,oil resistance,etc.While burning in abundant air, the synthetic paper turns into carbon dioxide,so it is also healthy and environmentally friendly product.
