Analysis of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia Resistance to Antimicrobial Agents in Tianjin China

摘要

Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is non fermenters Gram negative rods. It is also an important pathogen of the nosocomial infections. Recently, S.ma infection is increasing along with the use of broad-spetrum and super broad-spetrum antibiotics. In the patients of immune defect, cancer, blood dialysis, diabetis and use of immune inhibitors, the infection is severe. The infection commonly are bacteremia, carditis, respiratory, urinary tract and wound infections.
