Xenon Recovery System is used for Xenon separation from the mixture of Xe+30%CH{sub}4 on the outlet of the Transition Radiation Detector (TRD). It consist of two parts: Xenon recovery cryostat which is installed closely to TRD and Xenon purification block which can be placed far from Xenon recovery cryostat. The main design features of Xenon recovery cryostat are shown in Fig. 1. It has two stages of Xenon separation operating at the temperature of 163K and 113K. Dividing the second stage in two vessels (A and B) working at first stage temperature gives a possibility of Xenon removal from the two stages of cryostat during its run with the TRD.
