C/C composites have excellent tribological properties, mechanical properties, thermal properties and biocompatibility, not only widely used in aerospace industry field but also in civil areas such as machinery, medical, transportation, which have broad application prospects.Therefore, the research on thermal conductivity C/C composites has arisen worldwide concerns: C/C composites of brake discs used in aeroplanes perform good frictional and wear properties; nuclear fusion devices releasing much heat in the process have put forward higher requirement for the materials; The development of C/C composites breaks down the restriction that laptop computers select aluminum as the heat sink in order to lessen the corrosion damage. The two main components of C/C composites are matrix carbon as binders and fibers as reinforced fillers. From perspective of solubility, matrix carbon has two phases (solid and liquid) in coexistence. Toluene soluble yield level represents thermoplastic component, which closed with short carbon fibers in process of hot press molding. Quality of carbon mixes depends on property of matrix carbon structure and fluidity variation tendency of coal-tar pitches is related to quality of the carbon mixes.
