Satisfaction aspects affecting the work of stockmen from a venezuelan pig farm

It has been shown in several studies that stockmanship has an important influence on the whole pig production system. Environmental comfort factors have effects on personal satisfaction and motivation of the pigcaretaker. The aim of this study was todetermine how working conditions and several aspects that influence the work of the stockman on pigfarms in two states in the Venezuelan Central Region. Seven pigfarms were selected, 3 from Aragua State (AR) and 4 from Carabobo State (CA), the most important production areas in our country, located in the central region of Venezuela.
