摘要

Acute actinobacillosis causes respiratory disease where affected pigs rapidly develop clinical signs and serum antibodies (1). Surviving pigs develop protection towards re-infections. Antimicrobial treatments will reduce the signs of disease, but differ in efficacy. Less effective drugs hardly affect the course of disease; medium effective drugs have good clinical effect but only prevent pathological lesions and seroconversion to a limited extent; while highly effective drugs may prevent seroconversion and the development of clinical signs (2, 4). The aim of this trial was to study the resistance towards re-infection in pigs treated with drugs of different efficacy following a primary exposure to App2.
