摘要

For the purpose of sustaining stress and strain uniformity in a clay specimen, the authors have developed a strain path controlled mini-triaxial test apparatus, followed by comparing shear behaviors of specimens and water content distributions withinspecimens between strain path controlled test and conventional undrained/drained tests. As the results, it was demonstrated that the strain path controlled test was a real element one. Furthermore, the relationship between the strain path dependent shear behavior to water content distribution within a specimen was elucidated.
