The relationships between terrain attributes, soil nitrogen indices, and corn yield responses were studied in 1995 and 1997 with high spatial resolution on a site in SW Minnesota. Corn crop responses to N-fertilization (e.g. #DELTA#yield, economic optimum N-Rate) were not significantly affected by terrain attributes or soil N indices. Terrain attributes did have great influence on the relatively stable soil organic carbon content at the site.
