THREE-PHASE SYNCHRONOUS GENERATOR WITH DOUBLE-POLE INDUCED-EXCITATION (Ⅱ): CALCULATION OF THE ROTOR FIELD CURRENT WHEN HARMONICS ARE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT
In double-pole induced-excitation synchronous generator, the rotor field current is a pulsating dc current which is induced in the rotor field coila by a stator dc exciting winding. In the paper, the expressions of the rotor field currents are deduced when harmonics are taken into account. Then the effects of harmonics on the rotor field current are discussed. The theoretical results are confirmed by tests.
