DEVELOPMENT OF MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY OF LARGE ELECTRICAL MACHINERY IN CHINA

摘要

Developed industrial countries of the world reached 2 to 3 kW/person in power generating equipment during 1970s, having basically realized electrification. Taiwan and Hongkong districts also reached 1kW/person. Total installed capacity of generating equipment of out country is about 182,900MW in 1993, only reaching 0.16 kW/person. China's mainland need generator sets of 1, 300, 000MW to 2, 000, 000MW so as to catch up with power consumption level per person of secondary developed countries. The task of manufacturing large size electrical machines plus the requiremants of various industries upon them is very arduous, but the prospect is very bright.
