The variation on sintering-densification mechanism of mullite matrix doped with increasing concentrations of ZrO{sub}2 and CeO{sub}2 obtained by colloidal sol-gel method was studied by Thermomechanical Analysis. The dilatation-retraction behavior for ceramic bodies treated at 1400°C for the different doping was determined by the same technique
