摘要

A small scale Faraday type MHD generator with inlet swirl is studied through three dimensional numerical analyses. In this paper several different types of swirls are considered. A calculation result shows that 1) inlet mass flow rate 0.58 Kg/s: output power falls in the case with inlet swirl compared with no swirl condition, 2) inlet mass flow rate 0.63 Kg/s: output power falls in the case with small flow rate swirl, on the other hand output power rises in the case with large flow rate swirl.
