摘要

The paper presents a numerical technique to solve the problem of corona discharge in a blade-plate electrodes system. The coupled Poisson and charge conservation equations are solved by FEM and MOC (Method Of Characteristics) respectively to determine the distributions of potential and charge density. The structured mesh is redefined at each step of the iterative scheme; a simplified injection law allows us to obtain solutions which compare very favorably with experimental ones.
