The use of Ceilidh as a major assessment tool has propagated in the last few years in many Universities both inside the UK and overseas. This is well demonstrated by the availability of courses created in Universities other than Nottingham. Many courses have been developed to accommodate various curricula across academic institutions. The further evolution of Ceilidh's Web interface will intensify this tendency. As a result a wider input in research is to be expected which would speed up the move towards open and distant learning.
