In this paper we try to solvethe " Traveling Salesman Problem" by using discrete Hopfield-type neural networks, which have not been found in the literature as a solver of the TSp since there are several theoretical issues unsolved before our research. THis paper concludes that the discrete Hopfield network, when it its employed to solve the TSp, is reliable and efficient, simulations show that it is much more faster than the continuous Hopfield-type neural networks which are traditionally used to solve the TSP.
