摘要

ShenTuo spring group in ShanXi province is the famouse and great karst spring group in the north of china, the average spring flow is 6.99 m3/s, tlie water quality is good, it is the main water source of living industry and agriculture in this region. Because of the decreasing of the precipitation and increasing of development year by year, the spring flow declines year by year, if tlie trend develop continueously, it will affect the main industry and agriculture, at the same time, the whole karst water system will be destroyed. Based on the understanding to the karst water system, writer consider that the recharge capacity of the karst water is able to be increased by artificial storage which use tlie surface flow in flood season tlirough constructing the flood-control dams and leaking reservoir. This idea is simulated by numerical model and the result is good, this way is practicable.
