The investigations on the determination of etamsylatum by voltammetry have not been reported. This paper presents a method for assay etamsylatum in human serum by second derivative adsorptive anodic stripping voltammetry, a three-electrode system was used with a glassy carbon working electrode, a platinum counter electrode and a saturated calomel reference electrode( S.C.E.). The cetyltrimethylammonium bromide was used as an agent of increased sensitivity. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of etamsylatum in human serum.
