Non-stick wheel emulsified asphalt was developed by using emulsifier, reinforcing and toughening agent, elastomer modifier, and base aspha and used to prevent construction vehicles from stripping the sticky layer of oil which causes bad interlayer adhesion. The basic properties, non-stick wheel properties, bonding properties of self-made non-stick wheel emulsified asphalt, SBS modified emulsified asphalt, and commercial emulsified asphalt were studied. The results show that the softening point and ductility of the asphalt are much better than those of the non-stick wheel emulsified asphalt. The interlaminar bond strength at 5°C, 25°C, and 40°C is higher than that of commercial non-stick wheel emulsified asphalt and SBS modified emulsified aspha this shows that it has excellent non-stick wheel characteristics. Finally, Reflectance test and infrared spectroscopy were used to study the micro-mechanism of self-made non-stick wheel emulsified asphalt.
