摘要

This paper presents the requirements on a mobile phone basestation radio performance laboratory with respect to electromagneticinterference from nearby transmitters. The main threat is base stationsand mobile phones that use the same frequencies as their own systemduring receiver performance measurements. The threats and coupling waysto the base station receiver are analyzed theoretically and verifiedexperimentally. The result is a recommended requirement of the shieldingeffectiveness needed to protect the laboratory. A common solution tothis problem is to use a shielded room with a shielding effectiveness of100 dB up to a few GHz. A more economical solution is possible if theshielding effectiveness can be calculated by the method presented inthis paper
