A 1/2.3-inch 20M pixel Organic-Photoconductive-Film (OPF) stacked CMOS image sensor using new ternary organic materials is described. The new ternary organic materials realize 84%( λ =575nm) high quantum efficiency and 15pA/cm~2@20°C low dark current. The image sensor pixel pitch is 1.2μm, 3400h~+/lx·s·nm~2 green pixel sensitivity, 10kh~+saturation and incident light sensitivity reduction of 20% (±25 degrees) are obtained in 5V operation. This image sensor also realized low cross talk and good color reproduction.
