摘要

In this paper, a comparative study between Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) and Optimal Control using Output Feedback (OCOF) controller design for the Twin Rotor Multi-Input Multi-Output System (TRMS) is presented. In TRMS pitch and yaw angles are the main parameters to stable the MIMO system and flight control. The aim of this paper is to control the pitch and yaw angles of TRMS by using these classical controller techniques and discuss the comparison of these techniques. Simulation results are carried out to exemplify the actual performance of controllers and show that how LQR is better than OCOF controller.
