FE-Meshfree, which is a comprehensive method combines the advantages of both FEM and meshfree methods by utilizing composite shape function. This method possesses high accuracy and convergence with no need for needless nodes or DOFs. Reissner-Mindlin plates are analysed by FE-Meshfree with smoothing gradient technique in this paper. Extended moving least-square method is proposed for constructing the composite shape functions, which keep the composite shape possess Kronecker delta property. Two numerical tests are shown to investigate the effect of the method. And the results are compared with other methods. Results indicate that the present method provides more accurate solutions.
