摘要

In recent years, many researches on Giant Magneto-Impedance (GMI) effect in magnetic material are attracting great attention for technical applications in recording heads and sensors. Many methods such as conventional annealing [1][2] and Joule annealing[3] are used to get high impedance ratio and high sensitivity. In this paper, we report giant magneto-impedance (GMI) effect in the Fe{sub}73.5Cu{sub}1Nb{sub}3Si{sub}13.5B{sub}9 ribbons annealed by high-current-density pulsing annealing that different from above two methods. In addition, the contrast of brittleness between pulse annealing and conventional annealing has also been reported.
