The article deals with the method of energy supply of oil production facilities through the use of an autonomous source of electricity, the energy carrier in which is associated petroleum gas. The analysis of the power supply system in operational mode and recommendations for its modernization. The features of the organization of selective protection against single-phase ground faults in the networks of autonomous power supply of oil production facilities are considered. The results of the study of the effectiveness of the invariant protection against single-phase ground faults in non-sinusoidal operating signals. It was detected, that the harmonic presence in zero-sequence currents of undamaged power lines leads to an unselective protection functioning. The results of theoretical and experimental researches of invariant protection system functioning showed the sufficient efficiency level, when the algorithm of input signals processing includes the harmonic filtration in cinditions of voltage and current distortions in power supply systems and in zero-sequence circuits.
