摘要

The present day highly volatile global markets have rendered many of the established and time-tested management principles and concepts obsolete. To sustain and grow in competition, it has become imperative for organizations to undertake periodic experimentation with innovative ideas and concepts at every managerial and technological levels of organization. This is possible only through continuous creation and retention of required Knowledge (K) that stems from the employees of the organization. The opportunity for application of innovative ideas by the K-workers at the workplace will contribute to not only the growth of personal knowledge of the employees but also lead to the continuous growth of the organization. This paper attempts to identify the barriers to create knowledge are identified and prioritized depending upon the criticality. A model is developed to overcome the barriers to knowledge creation of employees and ways to develop a meta-database by transform knowledge of K-workers into tangible actions that can be captured and documented.
