A new methodological approach to the measurement of the dielectric permittivity of aqueous solution using the microwave transmission-type waveguide cavity is proposed. Test measurements of the distilled water permittivity were carried out and a measurement error of 0.3% was determined. The proposed method makes it possible to determine confidently the dielectric permittivity of the solution when the change in the dopant concentration leads to changing the dielectric permittivity of the aqueous solution by an amount exceeding the confidence interval of the measurements. Experiments on measuring the permittivity of other solutions are in progress.
