THE COORDINATION BETWEEN FARMERS IN THE NILE DELTA UNDER DIFFERENT IMPROVEMENT AND WATER AVAILABILITY CONDITIONS

Egypt is an arid country that depends almost totally on the River Nile to irrigate its cultivatedlands. The characteristics of the River Nile and the interconnection between different partsof the irrigation network necessitate the coordination between different water users. Withthe expected water crises in the future, the importance of the cooperation and coordinationbetween different water users and between different governmental and non-governmentalorganizations will increase.
