摘要

Although auxins produced by plant-associated terrestrial bacteria and its role in enhancing the growth of plants had been widely explored, there were few such reports dealing with marine microorganisms. An auxins producing marine actinomycetes was isolated in our lab and this strain could produce several auxins, such as indole-3-ethanol (IetOH), indole-3acetonitril (IAN), 3-(hydroxyacetyl)-indole (IHA), indole-3-carboxylic acid, 1-acetyl-b-carbolin, 3indoleacrylamide, 4-chloro-5-(3'-indolyI)-oxazole, 5(3'-indolyl)-oxazole, and the first precursor of auxin biosynthesis, anthranilic acid. The biological characteristics determination and the taxonomy based on 16S rRNA gene identified the strain as belonging to genus Streptomyces. In the view of its feature of auxins producing, this strain may enhance the growth of marine plants and therefore have potential applications in marine algal culture.
