Validity Analysis of Experiencing English Oral Test System

摘要

This paper analyzes the validity of Experiencing English Oral Test System by use of SPSS 14.0. Principal component analysis is used to reduce the test items to two factors, listening ability factor and speaking ability factor.The eigenvalue and the accumulative variance of each test are high.The load of each item in each test is over 0.5.The results of the research show that the test system has measured the students' speaking and listening ability well, hence a comparatively high validity.
