An Empirical Analysis of Factors Influencing Farmer's Willingness to Handle Crop Straw in the Suburb

Based on the data from the fieldwork in 609 farm households in the suburb of Jinan,the willingness of farmers to handle crop straw and its influencing factors are analyzed in this paper.The research result is revealed as follows：whether a farmer is willing to burn crop straw or not is decided by a variety of factors,such as the farmer's education level,his or her family income structure,the planting scale,the quantity of livestock of the family,his or her cognition of the harm of burning straw to the environment and transportation,the expecting income,governments'policy of forbidding straw-burning and punishment,the level of agricultural mechanization,the development of straw processing industry and companion's behavior.
