The influencing factors of crack width in RC member with different steel corrosion ratios mate were discussed. Main conclusions obtained are as follows. (1) Corrosion rate will influence expansive pressure of corrosion products. The greater the corrosion rate, the easier the formation of concrete crack. When evaluating the corrosion degree based on the crack width, the effect of corrosion rate should be considered. (2) Secondary cracks reduce the width of cracks on concrete surfaces because of the infiltration of the corrosion products and relax of expansive pressure. The existence of secondary cracks reduces the accuracy of predicting the corrosion degree based on the width of main cracks.
