Digging up the Theoretic System of the Chinese Strategic Management——Modern Explanation on Sun Tzu's 'The Art of War'

Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" has long been known as the oldest military treatise in the world. It can be used in various fields of military affairs, business, marketing and government. Foreign scholars regard it as the Chinese strategic management Is it really the eastern strategic management? How about its theoretic system of strategic hierarchy, process, environmental analysis, formulation and implementation in strategic management? Most of the previous researches on Sun Tzu' work involve the thought, principles, stratagems and plots. Yet there is few concern frameworks or models and its relevant relations with Sun Tzu' treatise, especially, as strategic management. Originally, this paper will try to explore these issues of Sun Tzu' strategic management with empirical, comparative and systematic ways from the modern point of view.
