HOKA: a new isolated current measuring principle and its features

The new current measuring principle HOKA is presented. Probes based on this principle can measure DC currents of several hundred amps, as well as di/dts of several kA//spl mu/s. A measurement setup to generate these di/dts as well as a current probe based on the HOKA principle were built. With the setup the current probe was tested and compared with other state of the art current probes.
