Geotomography technique is a developing technique which enables one to visualize underground. However, a geotomography technique can not utilize enough information. An aim of this paper is to present a method of making an image of geotomography under the shortage of information. The method uses primitive fuzzy reasoning. The method was evaluated by numerical experiments and results of field experiments. The results indicated that the method was effective for detecting discontinuities under the shortage of information. The method can be easily extended to use engineering knowledge. It suggests the possibility of making a high resolution image under the shortage of information.
