Microwave Research of Water Foams in Biconical Resonators

Two methods of switching on a biconical resonator are considered: "for transmission" and "for reflection" cases, to determine the possibility of studying the characteristics of water foam structures in stationary and dynamic conditions. The possibility of measuring the foaming ratio in the flow is shown. Such characteristics of foam samples in a biconical resonator as a resonant frequency, attenuation, frequency band, an intrinsic and loaded Q factor depending on the foaming ratio are considered.
