This paper describes the exhibition course of participating in planning. The Delight of Chinese Character Festival, is entrusted by the Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Kaohsiung City Government. One of the major challenges is how to give consideration to the interdisciplinary integrated application of the theme-distinctive characteristic, content value and scientific media materials, as well as a plan for a marketing strategy development, based on the exhibition theme-and oriented by the marketing of the subject of cultural and creative industries. As The Delight of Chinese Character Festival is a ticketed feature exhibition, this paper, as a direct participator (curator), focuses on the development of the exhibition theme, the planning for strategic marketing, and the evaluation and appraisal of achievements after the exhibition.
