This research investigates the impact of the constant magnetic field on the microwave and electrical properties of elastomer-based (nitrile butadiene and chloroprene rubber) composites, comprising magnetite and hard magnetic fillers - strontium and Ba-substituted hexaferrites. It was established that the magnetic modification increases both electrical conductivity and electromagnetic wave absorption. The observed effect is due to the presence of polar bonds in the rubber matrix and is related to the conductive phase of secondary particle structure formation and structural homogeneity as a result of the external magnetic field impact.
