Public transportation is one of the most important transportation tools for urban residents. To improve the service level of an urban public transport system, we explored the influential factors of bus service satisfaction degree by taking Hohhot's urban public transport system as a research object and administering a bus service satisfaction questionnaire survey. Based on exploratory factor analysis, this paper builds the hypothetical structure equation model of the influence factors on bus service satisfaction, using confirmatory factor analysis for empirical research. The results show that design and layout, reliability, security, comfort, and convenience are the key factors of bus service satisfaction, and the image of drivers and the economy are also important factors. Finally, based on various influence factors, the paper puts forward measures to improve the degree of urban bus service satisfaction.
