Conclusions: The 2% Alg-MA-β-CD microspheres that have been created so far have been non uniform, even at a steady flow rate. This is due to variance in manufacturing process, and the shear thinning behavior of the material. Future studies will look at manufacturing devices with smaller fluid junctions (8 μm) to increase the shear rate of the material.
