The effectiveness analysis of the mismatched sidelobe-free filter for compression of phase-shift keyed signals is performed. At that the various types of phase-shift keying codes were considered. The comparative analysis of compression effectiveness of phase-shift keyed signals is carried out. For codes of different lengths, the pairs with the mismatched sidelobe-free filter were found, providing significant improvement of compression effectiveness in comparison with the previously known technical solutions. The recommendations for choosing of phase-shift keyed signal type and code length were given with respect to requirements for effectiveness characteristics. The mismatched filter is proposed, providing sidelobe-free compression of phase-shift keyed signals in the presence of Doppler frequency shift. The investigation of effectiveness of mismatched compression in case of signal distortion compensation in receiving and transmitting path of radar is carried out.
