Image Segmentation is an essential procedure of image processing. Essentially it is characterized as the way toward partitioning the image into various parts of homogeneity. The aim of image segmentation is to specify the representation of an image into something important and simpler to get it. DWT based method is a procedure in which an information set or say pixels are supplanted by waves, pixels may have a place together due to the same color, texture etc. This research works proposed a new integrated principal component analysis based gray stretch approach to enhance the accuracy of the segmentation procedure. The motivation behind the proposed approach is easy and efficient.
