In this work we investigated generating regimes in gyroscopes with semiconductor optical amplifier and long fiber-optic cavity. We have determined influence of mode-locking on stability of generation, width of a line of generation and noise, and also lock-in zone of frequency. We have developed the model of generation dynamics in mode-locking for the gyroscope with semiconductor optical amplifier and external fiber-optic cavity. We have performed the comparative analysis of generation regimes and possibilities of angular value registration for gyroscopes with semiconductor optical amplifier.
