Public Bicycle Usage Modes Study In The Suburban Area of Shanghai

摘要

From the perspective of user feature, this paper analyzes individual characteristics and family characteristics of users based on the survey in current public bicycle system in the suburban areas. The research result shows the usage features are different in different user group. The usage modes of public bicycle system are grouped by cluster analysis into two modes which are Transfer Mode Group and No Transfer Mode Group. TMG is mostly used for transfer with other public transport mode, but NTMG is mostly used singly. This paper concludes user transportation feature of two groups about service position, trip purpose, the use of time, frequency and so on.
