Generating a very efficient solution of traffic signal control through collecting road infrastructure data of high-density road network areas, the operational data of public transport system and the operational data of social transport system to make sure the largest social transportation and the highest efficiency of traffic under the premise of those public transport vehicles within high-density road network is possible using the Green Wave. This signal control scheme has long red and green phases. During the green light of lateral traffic signals within the high-density grid network, this scheme is able to ensure the public transportation vehicles travelling transversely can get through all the signalized intersections between the two sites, under whose premise to achieve the highest efficiency of social traffic. During the green light of longitudinal traffic signals, the highest efficiency of public vehicles and social transportation can be satisfied as well. Adopting this signal control scheme at all the signalized intersections within high-density road network areas can improve the traffic efficiency of public and social transportation systems greatly in high-density road network districts.
