摘要

A new scheme is presented for vibration reduction of high-rise buildings. An infinite-dimensional dynamic model is developed to describe a high-rise building structure with a huge inertial load by using Hamilton's principle. Based on this dynamic model and the Lyapunov function, boundary control is designed and the controlled system is asymptotically stable. Furthermore, a series of experiments on Quanser Smart Structure laboratory platform indicate that the proposed control law is effective.
