Tunable all optical delay via slow and fast light propagation in a narrow band Raman assisted optical fiber parametric amplifier

We report the first demonstration of slow and fast light in optical fiber using narrow band Raman assisted optical parametric amplification. A tunable delay of up to 162 ps was obtained for a 70 ps pulse.
