摘要

FEM is used for modeling a folded balloon with friction expanding a stent to study how it influences the nonuniform expansion of the stent. The results show that only when the folding and friction are considered together, the stent expands non-uniformly; as the value of the friction coefficient rises, the extent of expansion non-uniformity increases; for different locations of the stent on the balloon, the extent of non-uniform deformation differs.
