This paper presents an experience report on the use of the Project Based Learning approach with the evaluation and design of interfaces with a focus on teaching and learning the contents of the Human-Computer Interaction discipline of the undergraduate course in Software Engineering from University of Brasília in the second semester of 2019. The methodology used was participatory research, of an exploratory nature, with a qualitative approach and with data collection technique through a questionnaire. The research participants were 63 undergraduate students and an instructor. The results of this research reveal motivation and engagement of students by the Human-Computer Interaction discipline in a Software Engineering Course, in addition to the approval of the use of this approach by the students and the professor involved. .
